Spanish lessons online next year

¡Hola! My name is Amanda Campos and my daughter, Paola, is in Year 4 in Ruru.

I'm excited to offer Spanish classes to Ridgway tamariki next year. I can offer classes for complete beginners, as well as español como lengua de herencia (Spanish as a Heritage Language) for kids who are exposed to Spanish at home. Both types of classes would be run in small groups and would focus on learning the language through songs, games, movement and stories.

I have experience teaching languages to kids of all ages, both in Wellington and overseas.

If you have questions feel free to get in touch with me at Amanda.CamposA@gmail.com

Please fill out this form if you would like to sign up.

Noho marae

This is happening next week for our Year 5 - 8s. It’s been a logistical nightmare (as always) with Southern Zones on Thursday and being split over two nights. Who remembers the fun of last year getting the kids to a basketball tournament last year?  So much fun!  Spare a thought for our local hero Derek who is spending two nights at the noho marae again this year - parents remember your ear plugs!

Dress up day

There were lots of fun and spooky costumes out there today!  But we have to give a special shout out to The Dereks!  Sadly two Dereks are missing in this photo - Katie doesn’t work Fridays but she dressed up (or should that be ‘dressed down’) to drop her daughter off and Felicity was AWOL - presumably playing the guitar somewhere.
