Bonjour à toutes nos familles

Our visit from Sir John Kirwan

We were so proud to showcase our school to Sir John Kirwan on Tuesday.  It was great to hear from him and the children performed the waiata beautifully.  We also had the very lovely Children’s Commissioner and a whole lot of people from the Mitey team, as well as the Ministry of Education.  (One of the Ministry people said ‘you have the most beautiful school in all of Wellington’ which we agree with - aren’t we lucky?!)

This is a fun, low pressure after school programme that introduces tamariki to basketball in an age appropriate and encouraging environment. No experience needed, no equipment required, just a willingness to get involved and have a good time.
