Property - links and details
Te Kura o Tawatawa - Ridgway School has recently been transformed. As of July 2022, we have been in our amazing new building, warm and happy!
These are very exciting times for our school community.
Community information and consultation
During November 2018 we held information meetings to tell our community about the building work that was coming. These meetings gave everyone a chance to find out about what would be happening to the buildings and how this will impact on our main job of learning. Parents were able to ask questions and tell the architects about the things that they believe are important for our school. You can still view the slides from these meetings.
After these meetings the Masterplanning began.
It can be confusing hearing the different ways that new school buildings are described, MLE, ILE, FLE - here's what these acronyms mean...
MLE = Modern Learning Environment
ILE = Innovative Learning Environment
FLE = Flexible Learning Environment
Mark Osborne
At the start of 2018 we invited Mark Osborne to talk about Future Focused Education.
