He mihi mahana ki a koutou katoa
Bonjour à toutes nos familles
Piano
Have you got someone in your house who likes ‘twiddling the ivories till they gleam’ (to quote one of the greatest movies of all times, ‘Tangled’)? If so, would you like a piano? We currently have two and only have the need for one. Let us know if you’re interested!
Goal Setting Conferences
Just a reminder these are happening next week on Monday and Tuesday. You will have received a message from the office with a link to sign up. Bring your child along with you to the conference if possible!
Reporting Absences
In our new system, parents/caregivers are unable to record future absences for their child and can only enter an absence for one day. If your child is going to be away for a while, just email the office and they can enter it all in one go (for example, on Wednesday and Thursday next week Roger is going to be away at a funeral).
Athletics Day
The curse continues! We will let you know if we can secure a postponement date. Fourth time lucky I guess?
Tuakana teina - buddy class sessions
We started these off this week. An older class buddied up with a younger class and they took part in different activities like Lunar New Year lanterns, art, sport and other such fun things. We’ll do this at least twice a term to strengthen the friendships across the school. These friendships across year groups is one of the (many) things that is so cool about Ridgway!
Cricket sessions start next week
We have Wellington Cricket coming in to run sessions across the school on Monday and Tuesday. If you’ve got a cricketer in the family, they may like to wear their merch!
