The Wellington Saints Basketball Coaching

It’s always cool to have a couple of the Wellington Saints players come in and teach the basketballers some new moves! They were particularly excited to have Hyrum Harris this year who is in the starting 5 for the Saints.  All our Year 5-8 basketballers got to have a session with them. Go the Saints!  

Jammies for June

Yesterday was such a great day to come to school in Pyjamas!  Today would be good too, to be honest…We had a target of $600 to raise and we got there, exceeded it even by $42.  We raised $242 online and $400 in cash - the hot chocolates were delicious and very popular!  Shout out to Papili and Estelle for organising the event and Skyla for helping on the day.  Thanks for supporting this worthy cause! 

Missing Croc

We are missing one much loved white croc that is decorated with a hot dog and pizza gibbet.  If this has turned up in your possessions please hand it to the office so it can be reunited with its very sad owner. 

School closures because of the weather

We had a few people this morning wondering if school was going to be closed today. If you haven’t heard from us, we are definitely open!  Unless something crazy and localised around our school happens, we wouldn’t close the school due to a weather event without official advice to stay home and keep off the roads. 

Matariki Celebration

Remember to send your child to school with a vegetable for the hāngi on Wednesday and come along and celebrate with us that evening. Bring along a plate and utensil for the kai, and a koha for the sausage sizzle!
