Bonjour à toutes nos familles

Camp at Forest Lakes

Our Year 5s and 6s had a great camp this week!  No broken bones and James got pushed in the pool, which is a sure sign of success.  Massive thank you to the parent volunteers who were, by all accounts, a fantastic team!

Weet-Bix Tryathlon

Last Sunday saw an early start for a number of our tamariki, who took part in this year’s Weet-Bix Tryathlon. Bikes and running gear needed to be in transition before the 8:15am closure, but with a free breakfast on offer, everyone was motivated and arrived in plenty of time.
This year, we had participants in both the Splash and Dash and the full triathlon. What an amazing group of athletes we have in our Ridgway whānau! We had children swimming like fish, cycling like Tour de France riders, and sprinting like Usain Bolt as they crossed the finish line.
Congratulations to all our tamariki who participated this year - we are so proud of you! 👏

Raising Resilient Children - 26 May

We have partnered with our local schools to bring Kathryn Berkett to speak to our community about Raising Resilient Children. This is an evening event from 6.30 - 8pm at Island Bay School.  Each school has been allocated 50 tickets. Please fill out this form if someone from your household would like to attend.  If all our spaces fill up, there will be a waitlist in case the other schools don’t use their allocation.

Food Drive

Thanks so much to everyone for bringing in the non-perishable food.  We will take it down to the Salvation Army and replenish their food pantry!

School Photos - 27 and 28 May

For a number of reasons we are not using Inspire Photography this year. Instead, we are going with the lovely https://juliasabugosa.photography/.  The prices will be similar to last year.
