And relax!

Mid Year Reports

Today you will get your child’s mid-term report sent out via the app. If you haven’t got the app yet, here are some instructions.

Starting this year, all schools in New Zealand are required to include new nationally consistent reporting elements in Reading, Writing, and Mathematics. This includes progress descriptors, attendance data, and a visual representation of progress over time.  This means your child’s report will look different to previous years. There is an explanation of the progress descriptors on the first page of the report.

At your child’s learning conference in Term 3, you will be able to discuss the report with your child’s kaitiaki teacher  and ask any questions you may have. The conferences are on Tuesday 28th and Wednesday 29th of July (which is the second week of term). The booking information will be hitting your inbox in the holidays.

Basketball and netball

The Term 2 basketball season finished last week. All six of our teams had a great season, practising and playing hard! Thanks to all the awesome coaches and managers!

Our three netball teams have been working hard too, either developing their skills or learning new ones for those who haven’t played before!  Thanks to those hard working coaches for helping the teams on their netball journey.

We’re looking forward to a great Term 3 of sport!
