Bonjour à toutes nos familles

Noho Marae

We had the best time at Marearoa Marae this week. It was a beautiful marae and a beautiful experience. Thanks so much to all the parent helpers (and to those who shuttled children to and from the basketball on Wednesday)!  This is going to be an annual event for our Year 5 - 8s, so start stockpiling ear plugs if you’re keen to come along next year.  Derek’s snoring is the stuff of legend, despite him protesting that he didn’t get any sleep!

Upcoming Athletics Day - 19 September

We finally get another go at this after it had to be postponed from Term 1! Hopefully the weather is better this time. If you’re able to help, please fill out the form

Parking and driving around the school

Please take extra care when driving and parking at school pick up and drop offs. It keeps everyone safe if the road rules are followed. We know parking around the school is a bit of a nightmare but we promise it won’t hurt your child if their chariot is not waiting directly at the school gates! You could always arrange to meet them further down by the bowling club where there is a bit more parking, or get them to play in the playground for ten minutes after school and there will be parks aplenty.

Basketball Festival

Our Year 4 - 6 basketball players got to enjoy a day at Akau Tangi playing their favourite sport. Despite no wrist bands or proper refs, it was a pretty fun day.  Big shout out to the wonderful John Nixon, basketball ref extraordinaire, who responded to an SOS call and headed down to ref some games for us.

Missing Jacket

Has anyone seen this jacket?  It’s MIA and its owner would love to be reunited with its pink-ness!

Holiday Programme - come and be a Rascal!

You can sign your child into the upcoming holiday programmehere and have yourself a little break, or get some work done without your little angels.

Calendar Art

You can get your child’s beautiful artwork immortalised as a calendar, diary, mousepad and more! You can order through this form. Orders are due by Monday 25th August and will be delivered in Term 4.
