We hope you all enjoyed the disco this week. Well done to our wonderful Year 8s who have been planning this disco for a very long time and who have put up with numerous postponements. It was great to see everyone having so much fun! I'm sure we all have friends and family around the world who aren't able to hold any kind of celebrations at the moment which makes the fact we were able to have a disco at all feel even more special.

End of Year Assemblies

We are splitting the Year 0-3s and the Year 4-8s into two different final assemblies due to the number of people able to fit into Vogelmorn Hall. These assemblies will be held in the Vogelmorn Hall and families are welcome to attend. Junior assembly: Wednesday 9 December 2pm. Senior assembly: Thursday 10 December 2pm.

Year 8 Leavers' Celebration

This is at Vogelmorn Hall on December 10th from 5.30 - 6.30pm

Ridgway's Got Talent

We will run auditions for RGT on December 1st. We will then have two separate RGT performances the following week on Friday 11 December, again due to space restrictions these will be in the Vogelmorn Hall. All our performers will need to perform twice, once for the Year 0-3s and once for the Year 4-8s. Family members are welcome to attend either performance. The performances are at 1.30 (for the juniors) and 2.15 (for the seniors).

Mountain Adventure Camp - 2021

We will be running a Mountain Adventure Camp for our Year 7 & 8s next year at Mt Ruapehu. This will involve mountain safety, skiing, building shelters in the snow and heaps more. The plan is to stay in a hut on the Whakapapa side so we are right on the mountain. We are currently looking to lock in dates but we know it will be some time during Term 3. We have an incredibly experienced parent who is going to lead this and it will be an 'opt in' camp for those who are keen on getting some mountain action!
