Our vision and values

Our vision is to nurture our young people to be confident, connected, actively involved lifelong learners.

Effective schools have a common purpose and a culture that reflects shared expectations and values. The ‘school vision’ should be the cornerstone of decision-making and planning.

This vision was arrived at by:

• Building on the existing school logo.
• Building on a discussion between staff, parents and Board members on a ‘common vision’ for our school. The phrase ‘Learning for Life’ captured well the spirit of our discussions.
• Circulating a draft version of this vision to all families in the school and incorporating their comments into this final version.

Our vision and values also are in agreement with the Vision in the new national curriculum.
