Ridgway’s Got Talent!

It’s nearly time for our yearly talent show! Anyone is welcome to audition for this and these auditions are being held next week on Thursday and Friday at lunchtime. We often have dancers, singers, magicians, acrobats, musicians and comedy shows. Each item needs to be under 3 minutes.  Children can perform on their own or in a group. The talent show will be on Tuesday November 23rd and while parents are not allowed to attend in person, we will record it and send out a link so you can watch it. Children will watch it in their classes too! If you have a child in the junior school (Year 1-3) who would like to audition, please email sarah@ridgway.school.nz. Year 4 and up will be able to sign themselves up for this.

Board Review

The Board is considering the possibility of Te Kura o Tawatawa Ridgway School becoming a Contributing Primary School (Year 1-6) rather than a Full Primary School (Year 1-8).  We are keen to hear feedback from our community via this link to the survey by 1st December. You are also welcome to email the Board on ridgwaybot@gmail.com and speak to a Board member. The Board will review all feedback received and make a decision on 8th December.

 Recycling Bag Request

Has anyone got spare recycling bags? We have run out seeing as we are so good at recycling. If you have any spare, please drop them at the door to the office!

Bike Network Plan - an opportunity for your child to share their views

Children and young people are the future of this city and we need to listen to what they have to say.  To make it easy, we've created a space where tamariki under 14 can share their thoughts and ideas on bike riding in Wellington.  https://www.transportprojects.org.nz/current/bikenetwork/kids-zone/
