French-English Bilingual Teacher (Full-time) – 2027 in Ruru La Chouette | Te Kura o Tawatawa – Ridgway School

We're looking for an outstanding French-English bilingual teacher to join our unique Ruru La Chouette team in 2027.

Ruru La Chouette is Wellington's only French-English bilingual class.  It delivers the New Zealand curriculum in both French and English. 

Our learners are immersed in both French and English through a rich, authentic curriculum that celebrates language, culture and belonging. As part of Ridgway School, you'll work alongside a collaborative and innovative team committed to providing exceptional learning opportunities for every child.  

We're looking for a teacher who:

• is fluent in both French and English, with the ability to teach confidently in both languages

• is a New Zealand registered teacher (or eligible to become NZ registered)

• creates engaging, high-quality learning experiences that inspire curiosity and a love of learning

• builds strong relationships with children, whānau and colleagues

• has high expectations while nurturing every learner to succeed

• is organised, reflective and collaborative

• values cultural diversity and enjoys working as part of a bilingual teaching team.
